Rates, Reservations & PoliciesNote: Rate Table is at bottom of page We highly recommend advance reservations for summer weekends, special events & holidays. We often are booked 6-9 months ahead during these times. Winter rates are valid from Oct 1 to April 30. Summer rates are valid May 1 to Sept 30. These rates do not include the 7% bed tax plus the $1 per night TBID tax. Rates include deluxe continental breakfast featuring locally roasted organic coffee, tea, & orange juice. Choice of hot & cold cereals; blueberry or poppy seed muffins; and New York style bagels. Seasonally available fruits. Served from 7 to 10 am. Special Note: Yes, the Hotel is for Sale, honoring all advance reservations will be part of the contract, so be assured that you'll have a place to rest your head when you book with us~
Pre Payment Summer Discount: When booking your reservations during summer May 1 to Oct 1, if you elect to pay in full, a 15% discount will be taken off the regular rates. Reservations must be made at least 2 weeks in advance & be a minimum of 2 nights. This payment is non-refundable. 2012: 100 Year Anniversary Creamery Picnic Weekend, August 3rd & 4th Minimum 2 night reservation, sorry no prepay discounts available. * All cancellations, at anytime, are subject to a $25 per room fee for stays of 3 nights or less, $50 for stays of 4 nights or more Deposits: Summer(May 1 to Sept 30) we require a deposit of a 1 night’s stay or 50% of the total reservation for multiple nights at booking, and balance will be due upon arrival. The deposit is not refundable if canceled in less than 14 days in advance of the reservation. Cancellations before 14 days will be refunded less the $25/$50 Cancellation Fee per room. For reservations made within the 2 week cancellation period, the deposit is non refundable. Winter(Oct 1 to April 30) we require a 50% deposit on stays of 2 nights or more at booking, and balance will be due upon arrival. The deposit is not refundable if canceled in less than 7 Days in advance of the reservation. Cancellations before 7 days will be refunded less the $25/$50 Cancellation Fee per room. For reservations made within the 1 week cancellation period, the deposit is non refundable. Multiple room reservations & event reservations: This includes weddings, local festival events, and other group events. We require a deposit of a 1 night’s stay or 50% of the total reservation for multiple nights at booking. The deposit is not refundable if canceled less than 30 days in advance. Cancellations before 30 days will be refunded only if the rooms can be completely rebooked, less the $25/$50 Cancellation Fee per room. Any refunds due will be credited within 10 days of the end of the reservation period. Changes of stay: If you shorten your stay within the cancellation period, no refunds will be given to the 50% deposit on the days cancelled. No refunds are issued for shortened stays after check in.Other Discounts: We will honor government rates, when your stay is for business only, this includes state, federal, active military & non-profit institutions when paid by institutional credit cards, or present a government or military ID at check in. Additional persons & spouses will be charged a $10 fee. Please call and tell us when making your reservation. Current State & Government rate for our area is $77 per night, subject to change. Children: Please be aware that the hotel has many stairways, antiques, and serving areas that are not childproof for toddlers. Please let us know if your party includes children, so that we can suggest the best rooms for them. We have a deluxe twin size, almost bed height, inflatable bed available for $10 per night. This works best in the Old Surgery or The Ward. We have a Play n Pak crib/playpen available for $5 per night (please bring your own bedding) & no extra person charges for children under 2. Pets: We are DOG FRIENDLY in 2 of our Hotel rooms. But in order to make the experience pleasant for us and our guests, certain rules must be followed. Dogs may not be left unattended, and must accompany their owners when they are not in the building. Dogs need to sleep in a kennel or dog bed on the floor. Dogs are not allowed on the beds. We expect you to clean up after your dog and dispose of dog droppings in the trash bins behind the hotel. Dog rates are: 1 dog; $20 for first night, $10 for additional nights. 2 dogs: $25 for first night, $15 for additional nights. Upon check-in, you will be asked to sign a damage waiver allowing us to charge your credit card $100 if we determine that the dog has been on the bed or there has been excessive wear or tear in the room. Smokers: All of our accommodations are non-smoking. Smoking areas are provided on the porches with ash trays or smoker poles. Upon check-in, you will be asked to sign a damage waiver allowing us to charge your credit card $100 if we determine that you have smoked in your room.
Arrival: Check-in time is 3 pm to 9 pm. Please contact us for late check in arrangements. The check in office for all buildings is located at the historic Hotel at the corner of 3rd & Church St. Coming in from Hwy 93, turn left (coming from Missoula) or right (coming from Hamilton) at the stoplight. Drive 1 mile into town. Once in town, turn left at the 4 way stop sign, go one block, turn right on Church. The entrance is located on the Church St side at the top of the stairs on the left side of the building. Our office is straight through the lobby, heading towards the 2 stained glass windows, in the breakfast seating area, on the right. We ask you when you make your reservations what time you will be arriving, so that we can be in the office when you arrive, but since we are a family run business, we often are in other parts of the building, especially in the evenings, including our apartment upstairs, the gardens or running an errand in town. If you arrive and no one is in the office, please use the phone to call us, we are usually only 2 minutes away.
